We are starting to put together details for our next Plus Size Challenge. In fact we have not even come up with a name for our challenge but we are working on it. We are very excited about this challenge because it will be not only the first challenge of 2012 but also our first challenge as new owners of Plus Size Bloggers.
The challenge will begin on Feb. 20th 2012.
We would love to have your input on this challenge so we just have a few questions.
How long would you like this challenge to go? ie. One month, two months, …..
What prizes would you like to see this time?
What day of the week would you like your weigh in and blog post to be due?
See simple right????
We have also started working on some of the prizes which will included:
Fit Bit
A $25.00 Amazon card
Year Membership to List Planit
And many many more to come.
So keep your eyes peeled for more info and how to join the first challenge of 2012.

2 Month Planning Calendar including a shopping list

How do I join in on this?
Linda we will be sending out info in the next couple weeks on how to join and what you need to do. If you are signed up for our list at the right then we will also email you info on this challenge. If not we will also post on here the info. ~ Tricia
I would think six weeks would be a good time frame. not too short to not have good results, but not too long to have ppl give up in the middle.
I would love to participate when you get it up and going!
Sugar… Six weeks is kind of what we are thinking too. Thank you so much for the input. We will be sending out more info very soon. ~Tricia
oh yeah.. I am good to post on Monday’s..
I weigh in Saturdays so that is what I use for my posts that week
Sugar. Mondays seem to work good for everyone. Thanks again.
I am thinking 6 weeks to 3 months would be perfect. Quarterly challenges would be awesome! Mondays are also great times for my posts as we usually weigh in and measure Sundays. I am looking forward to this!
Gwenyth. I agree with you six weeks seems to be what most people want and that will be the easiest to stick to. We do plan on doing them quarterly. ~ Tricia
I think six weeks is a good time. Not too long and not too short.
Melinda. Six weeks it is. Any prizes you would like to see? ~ Tricia
I would love to join. I just started Weight Watchers last week and am just starting to blog. I have over 100 pounds to lose and could use the accountability and support from a challenge. Six weeks sounds like a great time frame. I’m looking forward to it!
Kristy. Super excited to have you wanting to join us. I loved weight watchers when I joined. Let me know how you like it. Accountability is awesome.
So glad to see a new challenge on the horizon. Thanks for contacting me about it. If six weeks works for everyone else, that is fine with me. I am used to weighing in on Monday’s from before, so that is a good day for me (I saw it mentioned above).
Only teeny concern I have is, if there is a exercise portion of this challenge I will be unable to participate. I am going to be working really hard on eating healthy, hopefully that won’t be a problem for me. But this is starting three days after my c-section. I obviously will be losing a lot of weight rapidly that day, but I won’t be able to be real active during this challenge. I REALLY want to be included because I want to start out right. After my last baby was born I lost quite a bit of weight. She was born in April of 2010. By December I was back up to the weight I was right before she was born (261). This was when I started joining blog weight loss challenges. By July I was down to 217 pounds. There is no way I am going to let myself get as heavy as I was. I really want to focus on staying healthy. I am hoping there is a way I can join in on this challenge.
Thank you.
Just realized, I am also not sure how I will get a starting weight to you.
I am so excited you are going to join the challenge. We will figure something out with your starting weight. Also don’t worry about the work out part of it. We want you to be healthy also. We are just excited to have you in the challenge and we age there is no going back. Lets go forward and forget those past numbers. ~ Tricia
